Information on other temporary, permanent, or prohibited signage may be found in Article 14- 34 of the Peoria City Code. Chapter 14 of the City Code (the Zoning Ordinance) is available for purchase ($10) from the Zoning Division, 8401 W. Monroe, Peoria, AZ 85345, second floor, counter one. The Zoning Ordinance is also available for fee online at: http://www.peoriaaz.gov/zoning/ZONE_TABLE.asp 2. Lead-In Signage Restrictions: a. Shall not exceed 3 feet in height nor 4 square feet in area. b. No more than 15 signs for each residential subdivision may be displayed. c. No more than 4 such signs shall be displayed for all other residential and non-residential complexes or developments. d. May not be installed before 5:00 pm on Friday and must be removed before 8:00 am on the following Monday. e. Must be located within 2 miles of the subject property. f. Back of each sign must contain the permit number and the name of the sign company. g. May not be located within 20 feet of another subdivision lead-in sign. h. No more than 2 such signs advertising the same development may be located at any one street intersection. i. Utilization of in-ground sleeves for display is prohibited. j. May not be attached to any traffic control device, light pole, traffic barrier, bridge, tree, landscaping, natural fixture, or within 20 feet of an irrigation box, utility cabinet or fire hydrant. k. May not touch any plant, shrub, ground cover or plant irrigation system. l. Must be placed a minimum of ten feet from the edge of pavement. m. May not be placed in any island or median or between the sidewalk and curb. n. May not advertise projects located outside Peoria city limits. • The review period is approximately 1 to 2 working days.
