FAN FEST AND CHARITY GAME

Fan Fest 2008 is scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Stadium Gates open at 9 a.m.  Admission and parking are free.

Fan Fest is the Complex's official start of the Spring Training season. This year's event will include a display of sports memorabilia, free Major League instructed youth clinics, and the return of the all age interactive skills area:
        Hitting Stations
        Speed Throw Stations
        Pitching Stations
        Timed Run Station
        Pop Fly Field Station
        Miniature Wiffle Ball Drop In Play

Fans can watch the teams in live practices:
        Seattle Mariners            9:45 a.m.
        San Diego Padres      11:45 a.m.

Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will host a youth baseball clinic beginning at 2 pm featuring instruction from former Major League Baseball players and coaches. Registration occurs onsite the day of the event and is free of charge.

CHARITY GAME

The Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres will be going head to head for the Annual Charity Game on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 1:05 pm. Through partnership with the Peoria Diamond Club, the Charity Game has contributed to over $100,000 in donations to local charities.
