City of Peoria to Begin Curbside Recycling!

In December, after recommendations from a Recycling Citizens Advisory Committee, the Peoria City Council voted (4-2) to begin curbside recycling in September 2007.

If you are among the many individuals who take advantage of the beautiful Peoria weather to do some cleaning of the closets (and cupboards, garage, etc.), please remember to properly dispose of any household hazardous waste. To make it easier on you, the City of Peoria sponsors various special collection days throughout the year. The primary goal is to divert all household hazardous waste from our landfill mainstream.
