The City of Peoria Adaptive Recreation Program is a contracted provider for the 
Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities. 


Services provided include: 

Adult Day Programs 
Day Treatment and Training Adults—DTA


The primary emphasis of the programs is personal growth through a variety 
of experiences including, but not limited to, the following: 

. Increase community awareness through offsite trips 
. Enhancement of physical skills through exercise and dance 
. Increased social skills through interaction among peers in the community and 
through a variety of special interest classes offered. 
Things to look forward to: 
Volunteer Work, Computer Time, Shopping, 
Cooking, Line Dancing, Karate, Exercise Classes, 
Cultural Activities, Art 

 and more……….

Sunrise Family Center Peoria Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall 
21303 N. 86th Drive 10236 N. 83rd Ave 

Both Program Sites 

Dates: Monday through Friday year round 
Fridays ALL participants meet at the Peoria Community Center 
8335 W. Jefferson 

Times: 8:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m.
