Did you know…. The City of Peoria Adaptive Recreation Program is a contracted provider for the Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities. Services provided include: Adult Day Programs Day Treatment and Training Adults—DTA The primary emphasis of the programs is personal growth through a variety of experiences including, but not limited to, the following: . Increase community awareness through offsite trips . Enhancement of physical skills through exercise and dance . Increased social skills through interaction among peers in the community and through a variety of special interest classes offered. Things to look forward to: Volunteer Work, Computer Time, Shopping, Cooking, Line Dancing, Karate, Exercise Classes, Cultural Activities, Art and more……….
