The Summer Recreation Program is for two different age groups: Kindergarten -Fifth grade and 6th - 8th grade. Volunteers in all programs would assist children with educational projects, craft time, games and just be a friend.

Administrative Office - The Community Center and Community Services Administrative Office utilizes volunteers as receptionists to greet the public, answer phones, and perform light clerical duties.

Senior Adult Program - This program provides special events, trips, classes and more. Volunteers would work with staff to enhance special event activities, addressing mailers, etc.

Special Events - Many special events are planned throughout the year for the citizens of Peoria. Volunteers would work directly with the Recreation staff to enhance such areas as games, face painting, refreshments, arts & crafts and more. Volunteers are the necessary ingredient to make our events operate smoothly.

Special Interest Classes - This program provides recreation classes for all ages. Volunteers assist the instructor with preschool and youth classes which are offered during the morning, late afternoon, evening and Saturday mornings.
