What's new:

The pre-grading and construction phase is nearly complete.  The contract extension is scheduled to go before the City Council in November to complete the next phase of construction to include: two shaded- playgrounds, picnic shelters, a restroom, two turf areas, landscaping, walking path connections to the neighborhood, the elementary school, and the mountain trails and lighting.  Once approved, construction of this phase of work will commence and continue through to Spring 2009.

Background:

Council, on its May 1st 2007 meeting, approved a contract with Environmental Planning Group (EPG) to develop a master plan and  a design concept report for the West Wing Neighborhood Park.

The land is located on West Wing Parkway between High Desert Dr and Black Rock Blvd.
