Title:
Cost and Rate Analyst
FLSA Status: Exempt
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this position is to
provide cost and rate analysis, long term financial
planning, revenue forecasting and project analysis, to
assist with operational activities, and to plan for long
term revenues. This is accomplished by assisting with rate
analysis programs, analyzing capital projects, forecasting
revenues, assisting with budget development and
administration, compiling data, and completing operational
analyses. Other duties include assisting with special
projects, presenting reports, and preparing documents.

by updating data and planning models, evaluating
economic and demographic data, reviewing capital
requests, assisting with compilation and evaluation of
infrastructure plans, capacity and utilization data, and
recommending changes. |

REQUIREMENTS:

Formal Education |
Work requires broad knowledge in a
general professional or technical field. Knowledge is
normally acquired through four years of college
resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. |

Experience |
Over one year up to and including
three years experience. |
|
Supervision |
Work requires the occasional
direction of helpers, assistants, seasonal employees,
interns, volunteers or temporary employees. |
|
Human Collaboration Skills |
Work may require providing advice
to others outside direct reporting relationships on
specific problem or general policies. Contacts may
require the consideration of different points of view to
reach agreement. Elements of persuasion may be
necessary to gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas.
