Special EventsPioneer Days Parade Entry Form Dear Prospective Parade Entry: The City of Peoria’s Pioneer Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, 2007 beginning at 10am and will travel through Oldtown Peoria. (Staging on Cinnabar, north on 85th Ave., east on Washington St., south on 83rd Ave., disperse at Monroe/Cinnabar.) We would like to invite you to complete the enclosed entry form if you are interested in participating in the parade. There is no fee to participate in the parade. At a later date, I will mail your entry number and the time to meet at our staging location. Length of parade route is approximately 1 mile from staging to disperse area. Duration of parade route is approx. 45 minutes at a normal walking pace from beginning to end. To keep the flow of the parade moving, participating groups will not be permitted to stop and perform in front of the park on Washington St. during the parade. Once you complete the entry form, please mail or fax it back as soon as possible, so that we can secure your group’s position in the parade. You will be notified of receipt of your entry form.
