Local Street Signing Plans:

1. Provide a Cover page with the following:
Blue stake note, Key map, Project name, address, quantity table

2. Provide an approval signature block on the cover page to read as follows:

RELEASED FOR PERMITTING:
This set of plans has been reviewed for compliance with City requirements prior to issuance of construction permits.  The City neither accepts nor assumes any liability for errors or omissions.  This compliance approval shall not prevent the City Engineer from requiring correction of errors or omissions in plans found to be in violation of any law or ordinance.

6. Local Street Signing
 1)   Signing plan will be an overall layout of the subdivision (similar to a plat map without the legals), identifying the location of all local street signage (sign type, station)
 2)   All signs are to be graphically depicted.
 3)   Plan sheets are to be to scale.
 4)   Speed limit sign(s) are installed on the first street(s) into a subdivision off of an arterial or collector.  Generally, 200-300’ from the intersection
 5)   Street name signs are per the attached detail.
 6)   Show all approved streetlight locations on the plan.  Where possible, street signs shall be installed on the streetlight.

7. Fees
 1)   Signage Fees will be collected by the Engineering Counter at the time the signing and striping permit is pulled.
