Municipal Complex Directions

The City of Peoria Municipal Complex is home to City Hall, the City Council Chambers, the Main Library,  and the Municipal Court. It is located at 8401 W. Monroe Street in Peoria ( 85345 ), between Monroe Street and Cinnabar Avenue, and between 85th and 83rd Avenues.

The Police Department and Fire Administration are located in the Public Safety Administration Building, located behind the Complex, at 8351 W. Cinnabar Avenue. Limited parking is available in front of the building on Cinnabar.

The New Development and Community Services Building  is located adjacent to the PSAB and behind City Hall at  9875 N. 85th Avenue. Ample parking is available in front of the building on 85th Avenue. More info below.

How to get to the Municipal Complex
   (8401 W. Monroe St.):

• If you are traveling on Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway), exit at Peoria Avenue eastbound. Take Peoria Avenue to 85th Avenue. Go south on 85th Avenue to Monroe Street.

• If you are traveling on I-17
  (Black Canyon Freeway), exit at Peoria Avenue westbound. Take Peoria Avenue to 83rd Avenue. Go south on 83rd Avenue, across Grand Avenue to Monroe Street.

• If you are traveling on I-10,
  (Papago Freeway), exit at 83rd Avenue northbound. Continue northward to Monroe Street, or exit onto Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) and follow the directions above.

• The Main Library is located on the northwest corner of the complex.

• The Municipal Court is located along 83^rd Ave. on the eastside of the complex.

• The Council Chambers are located near the center of the complex.

• The Technology Center is adjacent to the Municipal Court building, on the northeast corner of the Complex. It houses the Information Technology Department. The address is 8343 W. Monroe Street.
  
  Public Works Administration has moved to the new DCSB. See below.

• City Hall is centrally located towards the south side of the complex. City Hall houses the Customer Service Center, which handles Sewer and Water connections and payments and Sales Tax and Revenue.
   
  Also here are The Finance Department,  The City Clerk, Passport Services, Economic Development, and Human Resources, all on the first floor.
   
  The Budget Department, Payroll and the City Attorney's Office are on the second floor.
   
  The third floor houses The Mayor and City Council Offices, The City Manager's Office, and Intergovernmental Affairs.
  
  
  Community Development, Community Services, and the Engineering Departments have moved to the new DCSB. See below.

• The Police Station and Fire Department Administration are located at 8351 W. Cinnabar Avenue, across the street from the East Parking Garage and the City Hall Annex and temporary offices. Studios of Peoria's Channel 11 TV station are housed in the PSAB, as is the Communications and Public Affairs Department.

• The New Development and Community Services Building (DCSB) houses the Community Services Department, including Sports & Recreation and Parks, the Community Development Department, including Planning, Zoning, Neighborhood Services, Code Compliance, Permits and Building Safety, and the Engineering Department on the first floor. Public Works Administration and Utilities Administration occupy the second floor. The DCSB is located adjacent to the PSAB and behind City Hall at  9875 N. 85th Avenue. Ample parking is available in front of the building on 85th Avenue.

• The City Hall Annex is located at 8314 W. Cinnabar. The annex houses Materials Management, Community Promotions, Records Management and Events.

• The City Hall Amphitheater is located behind City Hall on Cinnabar Avenue.

• The Peoria Community Center is located at 8335 W. Jefferson St, two blocks S. of Peoria Ave, and two blocks north of the Municipal Complex.
