PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETINGS FOR 2008
PEORIA BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the general public that the official posting locations for notices and 
agendas for all meetings of the City’s Boards and Commissions, including Ad-Hoc Committees and 
Subcommittees, are located at:

1.	Peoria City Hall Complex Posting Boards – 8401 W. Monroe Street, Peoria, AZ 85345.  Posting 
Boards located outside main entrance to City Hall.  Open to the public during all hours.

2.	City of Peoria Community Center Posting Board – 8335 W. Jefferson Street, Peoria, AZ 85345.  
Open to the public Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

3.	Peoria Downtown Post Office Posting Board – 10700 N. 85th Avenue, Peoria, AZ 85345.  Open to the 
public Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Agendas are available 24 hours in advance of each meeting in the Office of the City Clerk, at 8401 West 
Monroe Street, Room 150, Peoria, Arizona, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 
5:00 p.m.  Documentation (if any) for items listed on the Agenda is available for public inspection, a 
minimum of 24 hours prior to the Board/Commission Meeting, at any time during regular business hours 
in the Office of the City Clerk, 8401 W. Monroe Street, Room 150, Peoria, AZ 85345.  Notices and 
agendas are also available to the public by way of the Internet at 
http://www.peoriaaz.gov/Boards_Commissions/default.asp.

Boards and Commissions may vote to meet in executive session for the purpose of obtaining legal 
advice from the City’s attorney on any matter listed on an agenda pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3), 
or for any other matter authorized under A.R.S. § 38-431.03, which has been specifically listed on the 
meeting agenda identifying the statutory basis for executive session consideration.






Executive Sessions are always preceded by an open meeting per A.R.S. § 38-431.03, and are held in 
compliance with one or more of the following statute(s).

A.R.S. §38-431.03.1 - Personnel matters
A.R.S. §38-431.03.2 - Records exempt by law from public inspection
A.R.S. §38-431.03.3 - Legal advice
A.R.S. §38-431.03.4 - Litigation; contract negotiations; settlement discussions
A.R.S. §38-431.03.5 - Personnel matters dealing with employee organizations
A.R.S. §38-431.03.6 - International and interstate negotiations
A.R.S. §38-431.03.7 - Purchase sale or lease of real property
