The actual trailhead and parking facilities for West Wing and Sunrise Mountain are currently in design and will be under construction later in 2008. In the interim, the City of Peoria has established an agreement with the West Wing Elementary School to use their parking lot [as space is available] for off street parking and access to Sunrise Mountain and West Wing Mountain trails (see map above).

We encourage your use and participation on these mountain trails during non-school periods. Because there are limited parking spaces at the school, it is possible that there may be no available parking space during normal school business hours. However, please use caution when using the school parking lot during normal school hours as there is foot traffic crossing these parking areas.
