2008 CODE AMENDING ORDINANCES
ORDINANCE 08-01
Amending Chapter 2 of the Peoria City
Code (1992 Edition) pertaining to various sections of the Procurement
Code including revising the language in accordance with the American Bar
Association’s Model Procurement Code; adding language in compliance with
the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Grant requirements; and
adopting a single project limit of $3 million for work accomplished
under a Job Order Contracting (JOC) delivery method in accordance with
the provisions of Title 34, Arizona Revised Statutes.
ORDINANCE 08-05
Amending Chapter 13 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) pertaining to
public service corporation vehicles by amending the Criminal Nuisance
PM-10 Code.
ORDINANCE 08-06
Amending Chapter 14 of the Peoria City Code (1977 Edition) by amending
Section 14-9-3, Non-Residential Districts Land Use Matrix, to add
wedding and reception centers as a permitted conditional use within
the Office Commercial Zoning District O-1.
ORDINANCE 08-08
Amending Chapter 12 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) by adopting
the 2008 changes to the City of Peoria Model City Tax Code.

Amending Chapter 14 of the Peoria City Code (1977 Edition), by amending
Articles 14-9 “Non-Residential Districts”, 14-19 “AG General”, 14-34
“Signs”, 14-35 “General Landscape Requirements”, and 14-39
“Administrative Procedures”.
ORDINANCE 08-12
Amending
Chapters 2 and 15 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) to provide for
a Judicial Selection Advisory Board.
ORDINANCE 08-19
Amending Section 2-207 of Chapter 2 of the Peoria City Code (1992
Edition) to establish the fee structure and permissible
range for 6-month passes at Rio Vista Recreation Center.
ORDINANCE 08-21
Amending Chapter 14 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) pertaining to
truck and vehicular traffic issues.
