Dedicated to Providing Quality Service

The City of Peoria Utilities Department is dedicated to providing a safe, healthful, assured water supply to the community.

To this end, the department recently conducted an audit of our water production, distribution, billing and accounting processes in order to ensure we were carrying out this mission in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible.

The Audit was completed in February 2002, and while it was very positive, it did indicate areas where improvement was needed.

The Utilities Department seeks out opportunities to interact with the public and get feedback.

Many of these improvements had already been initiated, some others have started as a result of the review. For more information on this process or the changes underway as a result, call the Utilities Department at (623) 773-7286, or e-mail: utilities@peoriaaz.gov

Listening to Our Customers

In the past few years, the City of Peoria Utilities Department has been actively seeking public feedback on many topics regarding the city’s water system. Here are some of the things you told us:

  • 90% of those surveyed think that conserving water will help assure a healthy Valley economy in the years to come.

  • 84% of those surveyed don’t think that it is too big a sacrifice to conserve water.

  • 84% of those surveyed are satisfied or very satisfied with the water and wastewater services they are receiving.

We appreciate those who took the time to tell us how they feel. This kind of feedback is helping us set the course for the future and make changes to improve the level of service we provide today.
