Irrigation Controller/Timer Rebate Program – up to $30
Purpose:
The intent of this rebate
is to encourage a permanent reduction in the amount of water used for landscape
irrigation by establishing an incentive to allow customers to qualify for a
credit on their water utility bill. Installing an irrigation controller on your
irrigation system will allow you to water your landscape more efficiently.
Description:
An irrigation controller/timer operates the watering cycle on your irrigation
system by automatically turning the control valves on and off at pre-selected
times. Thus, it controls when, how long, and how often the irrigation system
runs based upon the programmed schedule. An irrigation controller, which
possesses appropriate features and is properly scheduled, can keep your plants
healthy and result in significant water savings and lower water bills.
Requirements:

automatically resets to irrigate every day for ~10 minutes after a power
failure. Programs are reinstated when power returns.
