POLICE OFFICER RECRUIT $3000 HIRING BONUS

Newly hired Police Officers without prior experience (non-laterals) are eligible for a hiring incentive of $3,000 to be paid:

$1,000 upon completion of the Basic Police Academy
$2,000 upon successful completion of the Field Training Program

LATERAL POLICE OFFICER $5000 Hiring Bonus

All newly hired Lateral Transfer (experienced) Police Officers are eligible for a hiring incentive of $5,000 to be paid:

• $2,000 upon initial hire date
• $3,000 upon successful completion of the Field Training Program

COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

For a new hire with no experience the bonus will be:

• $500 to be paid on hiring
• $1,000 to be paid upon completion of training and certification of “solo” operator status by the Police Department.

The bonus for an lateral dispatcher will be:

• $1,000 to be paid on hiring
• $2,000 to be paid upon completion of training and certification of “solo” operator status by the Police Department.
