WEST WING PARK UPDATE
What's
new:
The City Council awarded a
contract to Hunter Contracting on July 1st for preconstruction services.
Additionally, a contract was executed to Hunter for an early grading
package for work that will include installation of the irrigation system
and seeding of the west basin.
In other news, the US Corps of
Engineers has granted a re-delineation of the 404 wash that will enable
the construction of the park to proceed.

Background:
Council,
on its May 1st 2007 meeting, approved a contract with Environmental
Planning Group (EPG) to develop a master plan and a design concept
report for the West Wing Neighborhood Park.
The
land is located on West Wing Parkway between High Desert Dr and Black Rock
Blvd.
