12-week entrepreneurship program starting Jan. 7

Peoria’s Economic Development Services Department is hosting a 12-week entrepreneurship program starting Jan. 7, 2010. In partnership with the Maricopa County Small Business Development Centers, NxLeveL is designed to provide hands-on, commonsense skills that help people start and grow a business. Topics include: planning and research; legal structure; marketing; managing your money; negotiation skills; and managing growth. Sessions will be held in the Development and Community Services Building at 9875 N. 85th Ave., Point of View room. Applications are due by Dec. 23.
