City Plans Dec. 5 Collection for Household Hazmats

The city will accept so-called household hazardous waste – home electronics, chemicals, petroleum products, tires and the like – from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Peoria’s Municipal Operations Center, 8850 N. 79th Ave., just south of Olive Avenue. Proof of Peoria residency is required, so bring along a utility bill or driver’s license. For a list of materials being collected, visit www.peoriaaz.gov/hazwaste.
