Landscape Architect, Desert Fusion Garden Highlight Seminar
Program Teaches Seven Principles of Low-Water-Use Landscaping, or Xeriscape

Learn the facts about low-water-use landscaping, or Xeriscape, and tour Peoria’s award-winning Desert Fusion Garden during a seminar from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 7, at City Hall. Landscape architect Judy Mielke will discuss how to make yards water efficient, yet creative and colorful. The seven principles of Xeriscape will be demonstrated during a walk through the garden, located in front of City Hall. Pre-registration is requested and can be done online at conserve.peoriaaz.gov or by calling 623-773-7286. Attendance will be limited to the first 25 registered.
