Two Peoria Projects Earn Valley Forward Awards

Valley Forward recognized Peoria for two of its projects during its 29th Annual Environmental Excellence Awards on Sept. 12. The Butler Water Reclamation Facility won an award of merit in the Livable Communities – Resource Management category, while the Sunrise Mountain Library won an award of award of merit in the Buildings and Structures – Industrial and Public Works category. Valley Forward is an association that brings business and civic leaders together to convene thoughtful public dialogue on regional issues and to improve the environment and livability of Valley communities.
