Peoria Seeks Public Comment on Proposed Neighborhood Park

The Community Services Department will hold a meeting Wednesday, Sept. 9, to obtain citizen input regarding the proposed Scotland Yard Neighborhood Park east of Loop 101 and south of Grand Avenue in the city’s Palo Verde District. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Willow Room of the Peoria Main Library, on the southeast corner of 85th Avenue and Monroe St. The proposed Scotland Yard park would cover 8.3 acres and provide open space and amenities found in similarly sized neighborhood parks.
