Sewer Repairs on Northern Avenue Will Continue Through Oct

A City of Peoria sewer repair project begins next week on Northern Avenue that will force some traffic restrictions over the next several months. Workers will begin installing new lining in the pipe and repairing manholes between 83rd and 99th avenues, starting near 83rd Avenue and working west. Restrictions will move as work progresses, but may involve narrowing Northern Avenue to one lane and restricting turn movements in sections where work is underway.
