City Building Earns $55,000 Energy Rebate

Peoria has earned a hefty reward for its ongoing environmental sustainability efforts. APS has rebated the city almost $55,000 for energy-efficient measures built into the Development & Community Services Building, which opened in December 2007. Those measures included energy-efficient lighting, heating and air conditioning systems; high-efficiency motors; and the building’s energy-management system.
