Teen TEAM Presents Hoops Tournament, Skateboarding Event
A.M.-P.M. Doubleheader Set for March 10

Peoria’s Teen TEAM is putting on two events Saturday, March 10: a three-on-three basketball tournament at Centennial High School and a skateboard program at Rio Vista Skatepark. The hoops tournament, scheduled for 9 a.m. in the Centennial gymnasium, is free. Teams, comprising three starters and one substitute, must register in advance. There will be six divisions: male and female at the fifth and sixth grade, seventh and eighth grade, and ninth through 12th grade levels. Later in the day – 4 p.m. through 7 p.m., to be exact – teens can skate and eat barbecue with members of the Vans and Industrial Rideshop professional skate teams at the skatepark, which is in Rio Vista Community Park.
