Advisory Panel to Discuss Oldtown Revitalization Plan

The public advisory committee for updating the Central Peoria Revitalization Plan will hold its final meeting Wednesday, March 18, in the city’s Development and Community Services building, on the northeast corner of 85th Avenue and Mountain View Road. City officials and an outside consultant will present the proposed final plan revisions to the 28-member advisory panel in the Point of View Conference Room, adjacent to the main entrance. The goal is to establish a framework and strategy for revitalizing historic Oldtown Peoria and the surrounding area. The meeting will cover the land use, vision and circulation plans, and will review the project deliverables and plan recommendations. A public meeting on the plan is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, in the City Hall Pine Room.
