City Swim Classes Incorporate Updated Red Cross Curriculum

Peoria’s Aquatics Program is participating in the new American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim program for 2009. The Red Cross has spent the last several years updating and optimizing its curriculum. Some of the changes include an expanded preschool program that will allow younger swimmers to advance within a group of swimmers their own ages. Additional changes redesigned the existing levels to allow for more-natural progression and development. Visit www.peoriaaz.gov/aquatics to get more information.
