Sports Complex Offers Spring Training Discounts
Pitches Include Military Price, Family Days, Kids' Food and $2 Hot Dogs
2/18/2009
Military folks,
families, kids and hot dog lovers can look forward to discounts during Spring
Training baseball games at the Peoria Sports Complex. Active-duty, retired and
civilian personnel with military IDs can request a Box Office discount of $2 off
lawn seats for any game at the stadium, which is the home away from home for the
San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. At every game, a Kids Zone concession
stand by the whiffle-ball field in the first-base concourse will offer a
peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich or hot dog, along with a small soda and chips,
for just $3.50. The stadium also will offer Family Four-Pack Mondays – four hot
dogs, four small sodas, four bags of chips and four lawn tickets for just $30 –
and $2 hot dogs every Wednesday at the Centerplate concession stands.
