Needy Residents Can Get Critical Home Repairs for Free
Program Offers Disabled, Elderly, Low Income Folks One-Time Assistance

The city’s Neighborhood Services Division is taking applications for Peoria Assisting Residents (PAR), a free program that resolves residential life-safety issues for elderly, disabled and low-income Peorians. Such problems would include a malfunctioning air conditioner in the summer, a faulty heater during winter or a broken window. The city will purchase the necessary materials and send someone to make the repair. For more information or an application, contact Colleen Noecker at 623-773-7667 or colleen.noecker@peoriaaz.gov.
