Water Conservation, Landscaping Classes on Tap for Spring

Peoria will offer a series of free classes on water conservation and landscaping this spring. The sessions are: “Vegetable Gardening Through the Seasons” on Thursday, March 5; “Landscape Watering 101” on Thursday, March 19; “Landscaping for Wildlife” on Thursday, March 26; “Landscaping in the Arizona Desert” on Thursday, April 9; and “Xeriscape: Desert Fusion Garden Lecture and Walking Tour” on Saturday, April 25. The first four classes will meet in the Point of View Room in Peoria’s Development and Community Services Building, on the northeast corner of 85th Avenue and Mountain View Road.
