City Offers Second Chance to Comment on Arts Master Plan

Peoria will hold the second of two public meetings about an arts master plan at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, in the Lecture Hall at Sunrise Mountain High School. The goal is to gather citizen input on the project, which involves a consultant doing a comprehensive evaluation of Peoria’s arts program and providing recommendations that will form the basis of a public art master plan. The arts master plan then will provide guidance and policy direction to the City Council and Peoria Arts Commission on a variety of arts-related matters.
