Shots for Flu, Pneumonia Available at Rio Vista Nov. 15

Rio Vista Recreation Center will host a flu and pneumonia vaccination clinic on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shots for both will be administered by Healthwaves. Both shots are fully covered by Medicare B and some insurance companies. Without coverage, the cost is $30 for a flu shot and $45 for a pneumonia shot. Just walk in, and bring an insurance card if you have one. For more information, call 623-773-8600. The center is located inside Rio Vista Community Park at 8866 W. Thunderbird Road.
