City Seeks Input on Central Peoria Revitalization Plan

Peoria is seeking residents’ opinions on its Central Peoria Revitalization Plan, which focuses on the area from Cactus Road south to Olive Avenue and 75th Avenue west to Loop 101. The Planning Division will host a public workshop on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Pine Room that will cover issues ranging from historic preservation to economics, urban design, streetscape and parking. The session also will discuss the revitalization process and proposed strategies. Participants can register their opinions through live, anonymous, interactive polling, as well as mapping exercises and a question-and-answer period.
