Rio Vista Workshop to Explain Social Security Benefits

Rio Vista Recreation Center and Credit Union West are sponsoring a Social Security workshop from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Participants will learn about qualifying for Social Security, how benefits are calculated and how work after retirement affects payments. A representative from the Social Security Administration will give an overview of retirement, including Medicare, and will answer questions. Pre-register by calling 623-773-8600. The center is located in Rio Vista Community Park, off Thunderbird Road just west of Loop 101.
