Senior Program Offers Dancing, Ceramics at Community Center

Arizona Diamondbacks’ organist Bobby Freeman performs the music for the Peoria Community Center’s Thursday afternoon tea dances, held weekly from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The $4 admission includes dancing, refreshments and a door prize ticket. The city’s Senior Adult Program also offers ceramics classes on Monday mornings from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A four-class punch card is available for $25. Participants can bring their own supplies or purchase them from the instructor, Dottie Weedman. For more information on the classes or the dances, call 623-773-7436.
