Voter Registration for Sept. 2 Primary Ends Aug. 4

Aug. 4 is the last day to register for the Sept. 2 Primary Election. The Secretary of State’s Office will accept registrations until midnight via a booth in front of the entrance at 1700 W. Washington St. in downtown Phoenix. Folks also may register online at http://www.servicearizona.com but should be aware that the Web site is heavily trafficked between 5 p.m. and midnight on deadline days. Those who act earlier can pick up registration forms at the Peoria City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, 8401 W. Monroe St. Early voting begins July 31, and Peoria will host an Early Voting Satellite Location beginning Aug. 4 in the Maricopa Room of the City Hall Annex, at the northwest corner of 83rd and Cinnabar avenues.
