Playground Sprouts from Peoria’s Neighborhood Grant Program

Construction has begun on a playground being built with money from Peoria’s Neighborhood Grant Program – and children could be playing there as soon as this weekend. An official from the Lake Pleasant Estates Homeowners Association, which obtained $12,000 from the city for the project, said the playground likely will be completed Friday, Jan. 19.
