Special Study Session to Focus on Proposals for APS Corridor

The City Council will hold a special study session at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, to discuss proposed routes for an APS high-voltage transmission line from northern Peoria to Buckeye. The session, in the Council Chamber, will be shown on Peoria Channel 11. The company is looking at two potential corridors that the 120 foot-tall, high-voltage transmission line could take through Peoria: one along State Route 74 and one on the Carefree Highway alignment, three miles to the south.
