Rec Expo Offers Information, Competition and Entertainment

Rio Vista Community Park will host the West Valley Recreation Expo on Saturday, April 19, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will be a one-stop-shop for participants, parents and coaches alike. Find information about:
-- Sports teams, equipment, trophies and facilities.
-- Dance venues and lessons.
-- Martial arts classes and supplies.
-- Music, lessons, books and instruments.
-- Musicians and concerts.
-- Art shows, classes and supplies.
-- Party facilities, equipment and supplies.
-- Special events.
A free movie will be screened at 7:30 p.m. And champions from several cities’ adult-softball leagues will compete in a “Best of the Best” tournament that will run from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., then conclude on Sunday, April 20. The park is located off Thunderbird Road just west of Loop 101.
