HOA Academy Offers Knowledge, Skills for Community Leaders

Residents interested in the workings of homeowners’ associations (HOAs) are invited to attend the spring session of Peoria’s HOA Academy. Participants will learn about conducting open meetings, government statutes and effective communication, among other things. The group meets four consecutive Thursday nights, beginning April 10. There is a $20 fee and a limit of two representatives from each HOA. Reservations are required, and applications are due by Thursday, March 27.
