City Promotes Native Peorian to Lead Streets Division

Department has named Janet Ramsay operations manager for its Streets Division.
Ramsay has been the division’s storm water and street sweeping supervisor since
2005. She is a Peoria native with more than 23 years of service in the public
sector. Before being hired in Peoria, she worked for Maricopa County and the
City of Surprise. The Streets Division is responsible for street maintenance,
signals, signs, striping, street improvements, storm water drainage, sweepers,
grading, street light repair and the Adopt-a-Street program. Ramsay replaces
Larry Fudurich, who retired in December 2007 after nearly three decades of
service.
