Teens Can Choose from Two Spring Break Trips

The Rio Vista Recreation Center is offering two exciting spring break trips for teenagers the week of March 24. Youths ages 13-17 can spend Monday through Friday whitewater rafting on the Colorado River from the Grand Canyon to Lake Mead. Or they can take a “turnaround” bus trip to the Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park north of Los Angeles, departing Rio Vista at 1 a.m. Wednesday and returning at approximately 3 a.m. Thursday. Costs and registration deadlines are $399 and Feb. 20 for the rafting trip, $135 and March 15 for Magic Mountain.
