City Council Chooses Carlat to Be Vice Mayor

Cathy Carlat is Peoria’s new vice mayor. The City Council elected the Mesquite District councilmember to a one-year term at its Jan. 15 meeting. Councilmembers also chose Willow District Councilmember Joan Evans to be mayor pro tem. Evans will have the powers of mayor when both the mayor and vice mayor are absent.
