Tots Can Take Shots at Golf Event for Kids

Children ages 3 to 5 are eligible to play in the 2008 Itty Bitty Open the morning of Saturday, Jan. 19, at Rio Vista Community Park. The event is a free golf clinic and tournament staged in conjunction with the Junior Golf Association of Arizona. Each golfer will receive a set of plastic golf clubs, golf balls, a bag and a visor. An adult caddy must be present. Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed golfer and caddie team. Register online at www.jgaa.org under “Itty Bitty Open”; a few spaces remain for the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. sessions.
