Afternoon Young Rembrandt Classes Draw on Kids’ Creativity

The City of Peoria and
Young Rembrandts are offering after-school drawing classes for children this
semester. Kids can develop their artistic talents in a children's drawing
program geared to help them grow academically, artistically and personally
through drawing and art. The course, which begins the week of Jan. 28 and runs
for six weeks, includes a different themed take-home project after each class.
Sessions will start 10 minutes after school is dismissed. Classes for students
in the third through sixth grades are being offered at Apache, Coyote Hills,
Frontier, Oakwood, Oasis, Parkridge, Paseo Verde, Vistancia and Zuni Hills
elementary schools. Classes for students in kindergarten through second grade
are being offered at Apache, Frontier, Oakwood, Parkridge, Paseo Verde and
Vistancia. Registration is $72 for Peoria residents and $77 non-residents; the
deadline to sign up is Wednesday, Jan. 23. For more information or to register,
