Rio Vista Offers Youth Sports Program for Winter Break

Peoria’s Recreation Division hopes to get some teenagers and preteens off their couches and into the Rio Vista Recreation Center during the holidays. The three-day Teen TEAM Winter Break Challenge for youths ages 11-15 will be loaded with fun and exciting activities, including dodgeball, rock climbing, kickball, team-building games, fear factor and much more. It will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Wednesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 4. The cost is $35 for rec center annual/monthly pass holders, $40 for other Peoria residents and $48 for non-residents.
