Utility Work to Close 83rd Avenue in December
Access for local residents and businesses will be maintained.

Peoria, Ariz. (Nov. 30, 2007) –83rd Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Northern Avenue and Butler Drive during most of December for installation of reclaimed water and sewer pipelines related to the new Butler Water Reclamation Facility.

The closure is scheduled from Monday, Dec. 3, through Friday, Dec. 28. During that period, local traffic may use 85th, 87th 89th avenues as alternate routes. Butler Drive and Northern Avenue will remain open.

During construction, access will be maintained for businesses, residents and emergency vehicles. Residents should allow extra time when traveling in the area as there may be traffic delays.
