Firefighters Plan Fire Prevention Day Event

The Peoria Fire Department will stage a Fire Prevention Day event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Super Target store located at Lake Pleasant Parkway and Happy Valley Road. The free, family event will feature safety booths, displays, activities and music. Firefighters will perform car seat inspections from 10 a.m. to noon.
