Fall League Showcases Major League Baseball's Top Prospects

The Arizona Fall League
baseball season begins Tuesday, Oct. 9, with the Peoria Javelinas hosting the
Surprise Rafters at 12.35 p.m. The Peoria Saguaros will play in Scottsdale that
evening, then have their first home game the next afternoon against the
Scottsdale Scorpions. Each team in the league comprises top prospects from five
major league clubs. The season runs through Nov. 15; most days, either the
Javelinas or the Saguaros will play a home game at Peoria Stadium. General
admission is $6 for adults and $5 for seniors (55 and older) and youths (17 and
under). Groups of 20 or more can buy tickets for $3 apiece. Season passes are
$75 for adults and $65 for seniors; family season passes are $105 and good for
