Hot Dog! Recycling is Almost Here
Block parties will celebrate launch of curbside collection in Peoria
9/17/2007
(Peoria,
Ariz.) Sept. 17, 2007 – Peoria invites residents to celebrate the arrival of
curbside recycling at block parties scheduled over the next five weeks.
In addition to
free hot dogs, participants can talk with city experts and obtain a host of
information about Peoria’s recycling program.
“We’re all
excited to get curbside recycling going,” says Beckie Borquez, Peoria’s
recycling coordinator. “These parties should be a fun way to help people learn
more about the program.”
Children can
play in their own kid’s zone – or join their parents in inspecting recycling
equipment and vehicles. Attendees can also pick up information on other city
services.
